To put it simply, I chose to study hospitality as I truly enjoy being of service to others and it is this enthusiasm combined with my education that has helped in my career success.

During my studies at IHTTI, beyond acquiring precious knowledge on how to face the challenges of this dynamic industry, I also developed a thorough understanding of what leadership really means and the vital steps I need to take so as to inspire others.
When I graduated from IHTTI, I went to work in the UK for Hilton International as an Food and Beverage Corporate Management Trainee and then joined Sani Resort, an exclusive luxury resort in Northern Greece where I began my path in Training and Human Resources Management. In 1999, I became part of the Hyatt team, beginning as a Training Manager, moving up to Personnel Manager and in 2008 taking on the role of Human Resources Manager.

Throughout my career I have been able to use what I consider to be the most important skill that I learnt during my studies, which is to be a team player. I believe in setting an example and use this as my professional philosophy.
My career highlight thus far has been the opportunity to be a part of the opening task force for two hotels, the Park Hyatt in Milan and the Grand Hyatt in Dubai.
If I were to give an advice to those considering studying hospitality, I would highlight that much resilience, discipline and self-motivation are needed. However, for me passion is essential in order to make it in the demanding world of hospitality.

“I am grateful to ‘Swiss Hotel Management School’ for providing me with an outstanding educational experience.

During my time at ‘SHMS’, I gained a fruitful knowledge of hospitality as well as many skills across all areas of the industry such as Food and Beverage, Cookery, Front of Office, Human resources, Accounting, Finance and Management. Park Hyatt Dubai appoints new Director of Sales and Marketing

Park Hyatt Dubai, the luxury waterfront retreat adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, is glad to announce the appointment of Angela Christodoulopoulou as director of sales and marketing.
Angela, a Greek national, completed her studies at the Cesar Ritz College in Switzerland with a Diploma in Hotel Management. In 1992, Angela joined Club Manhattan at EuroDisney Resort, Paris, as chef de rang. The following year, Angela joined Richoux Knightsbridge, London, as restaurant manager.

In 1995, Angela joined the Hyatt family, starting as a sales executive in the former Lowndes Hyatt Hotel, London, and moved to the position of sales manager in the former Hyatt Carlton Tower, London shortly thereafter.

In 1999 Angela joined the Hyatt Regency in Thessaloniki, Greece, as associate director of sales and soon after, she was promoted to director of sales and marketing, the role she currently holds.

Angela commenced her role of director of sales and marketing at Park Hyatt Dubai effective 11 March 2012.

César Ritz Colleges leads the revolution and will be the first Swiss Hotel Management School to introduce iPads as an interactive learning tool!
From July 2012, all students at César Ritz Colleges will receive an iPad, offering them a new learning experience in a dynamic and interactive classroom. The iPad gives students a personalized learning environment that can be adapted to their individual needs and study requirements.

Foreign Languages: All courses are delivered in English; additionally SEG offers the choice of French, German, Spanish or Chinese.

Internships: Students have a distinct advantage as they enter employment through a guaranteed internship from the first year of studies with a salary over 2000 Swiss Francs per months.

Facilities: Wi-Fi on all campuses, Lecture and Demonstration theatres, modern classrooms,LearningResourceCenters, Computer rooms, specialized training facilities.

Accommodation: is provided in all 8 campuses in single or double rooms with options for different categories i.e. deluxe or superior deluxe. On campus facilities include gym, beauty spa, sauna, Jacuzzi, bar and night club.
